In kibera students
they don’t start there compositions in a polite ways for example one chilly
morning……,not that way they normally start like this it was evening all over sudden
fire broke out or we were in the house all over sudden again “majambazi”, also
people in kibera stays alert even at night because anything can happen, in
kibera people sleep fully dressed even with shoes on their legs also cash in
their pockets in case fire broke out or any demolition, they are always on
their marks waiting to be told go.
Also people outside their think kibera slum was
brought by unemployment, to me kibera slum was brought by peace, love and unity
the people in kibera had, this is because even when you look at the way they
have builded there house they are too close to each other forming slum if there
was no peace, love and unity they should have build their houses like estate
where I think no peace, love and unity because everyone got his own matters to
take care of.

So to prove that’s right people in kibera and
other hoods like mathare have created their own easy communicative Swahili language that is”SHENG” to use when communicating, no estate have
created their own language they use common ones.
